KLEK 102.5 FM’s 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Mark your calendars for June 16-18! Your community radio station KLEK 102.5 FM has big plans for this year’s Juneteenth in Jonesboro celebration.
This year’s theme is “Overcoming Obstacles through Courage and Joy”. From a community gospel concert and our annual community fair to the first ever Juneteenth parade and fireworks show we are inviting the community to join us in making this the largest celebration of freedom and independence in Northeast Arkansas!

1st Ever Juneteenth In Jonesboro Parade
Come celebrate with KLEK 102.5 as we host the 1st ever Juneteenth in Jonesboro Parade. The Parade will feature black beauty queens, local businesses and organizations as well as The Central High School band from West Helena, Arkansas.
***The Parade Route***
The parade will start and end at the historic E. Boone Watson Community Center and will travel up North Patrick St. From Patrick it will go west onto Creath Avenue. From Creath it will go south on to Church St. While on Church it will go past the Arvest Bank Grand Stand that will be located at Rotary Park. After going by the Grandstand we will go east onto Monroe and from Monroe back up to the E. Boone Watson Center.
Once the Parade has ended we invite everyone to participate in our other Juneteenth in Jonesboro activities throughout the day!
