Glenn Maxwell has more than three decades of experience in law enforcement.
Glenn Maxwell is the new leader of the Waldo Police Department. Mayor Beverlyn Rowden and the police department publicly welcomed the new police chief on the city’s Facebook page. Maxwell brings more than 35 years of experience to his new position.
After completing his service in the United States Marine Corps, Maxwell began his career in law enforcement in 1985 as a police officer with the Camden Police Department. In 1988, Maxwell moved to the Arkansas State Police where he worked in the Highway Patrol Division.
After working 23 with ASP, Maxwell retired in October 2011 to serve as police chief of the Magnolia Police Department. Maxwell was sworn in as police chief in December of 2011 and he held the position until October 2018.
Maxwell is also serving as the pastor of Spirit Led Church in Magnolia.
