November 20

3 p.m. Northern Lights 2021

Join the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of North Little Rock for the annual holiday celebration, Northern Lights! The free family event is scheduled from 3 to 8:30 p.m. at Argenta Plaza and includes live music, food trucks, a holiday market and photos with Black Santa and the 38-foot Christmas tree.

 

November 27-28

Time Varies — The Santa Experience Session

Santa Chris is coming to town! Lacey West Photography in Sherwood is hosting 15-minute sessions with a digital gallery and a print release. The sessions are for children only. A portion of the proceeds from each session will be donated to Union Rescue Mission.

 

December 3

4 p.m. Mini Town Hall

Santa is joining the William F. Laman Public Library’s Facebook Live Community Connections event. Tune in at 4 p.m. to hear Santa answer questions you’ve been wanting answers to, such as three-year-old Winnie’s question: Why does Santa Claus say “Ho! Ho! Ho!”?

 

December 4

3 p.m. Community Christmas Event

Rock City Eats is partnering with Community Bakery in Little Rock to host this free community event from 3 to 5 p.m. Santa will visit with neighborhood kids and parents are invited to take photos of their children with Santa.

 

4 p.m. — Cookies with Santa: At the Drive-In Movie

Come join Santa at the Benton County Fairgrounds for this festive and socially-distanced evening event. General admission is $15 per child (age 2+) and parents/adult chaperones are free. Child admission includes snacks, drink, light-up toys, books, activity pack and more. There will be appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Masks are mandatory outside of vehicles including at food trucks and/or other concessions, restrooms and photo opportunity areas. A free holiday movie shown at dusk. Proceeds benefit Canopy NWA and Jack and Jill of America Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

 

6 p.m. —  Stories with Santa

Santa will share his favorite story from 6 to 8 p.m. at Community Bakery in Little Rock. Families can also get professional photos with Santa and a cookie from the bakery. You can sign up for a time slot here.

 

December 5

2 p.m. —  Cocoa, Carols & Pie

For years, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in downtown Little Rock has hosted two special December events: Cocoa and Carols and the Say It Ain’t Say’s Sweet Potato Pie Contest. This year, we are combining these events into one Holiday Open House extravaganza. Join us for music, crafts and a certain Jolly Old Elf (a.k.a. Black Santa) for a festive Sunday at the museum. And if you’re in the area before Dec. 3, feel free to drop off a new unopened toy for the Robert “Say” McIntosh Stop the Violence Toy Drive in partnership with Central Arkansas Library System.

 

3 p.m. — Stories with Santa

Santa is coming back to Community Bakery in Little Rock to share his favorite story and take photos. Guests can also receive a cookie from the bakery. Santa will be hanging out from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. You can sign up for a time slot here.

 

December 12

2 p.m. — AAA Black Student Union Event

The Arkansas Arts Academy Black Student Union will once again host a festive event from 2 to 5 p.m. Details will be posted on AAA’s Facebook page closer to the event date.

 

December 15-18

Time Varies — Santa Claus Meet and Greet Sessions

Mama Mia Photography in Pine Bluff is hosting meet and greet sessions with Santa this year. There are 35 slots available and each session lasts 10 minutes. 

 

December 20

4 p.m. — Cookie Decorating with Santa

Join Santa before the big night and decorate cookie kits from Community Bakery, plus get a professional photo of your kids along with Santa.
