2020 Election: By the Numbers

It may take some time before the results of the 2020 election are finalized, so we decided to focus on what we do know as of this moment.

For example, in Arkansas we know there is one U.S. Senate seat up for grabs as well as all four seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. We also know that if any of the Black candidates in these elections win, they’ll be the first Black representatives from Arkansas elected to Congress. Arkansas is the only former Confederate state that hasn’t sent a Black candidate to Washington.

Whether you’ve already cast your vote or you’re headed to the polls on Election Day, here is a quick look at some of the demographics of this year’s candidates.
